Sachin Kamble


Short Biography

Sachin was born in Kolhapur – a small city in Maharashtra Sate of India on July 21st, 1975. He was third child of Mrs. Mina Kamble and Dr. Laxman Kamble. His native place was a remote village – Pundi, in Palus Tahashil of Sangli District in Maharashtra. Sachin was brought up and lived his life in Pune, Maharashtra, except for his early childhood days of five years in Kolhapur.

 

Education

Sachin completed his nursery and K.G. at Easther Patton School in Kolhapur. Subsequently his family moved to Pune, where he continued his studies at St. Gillan’s School in Hadapsar, Pune. He studied there from the first to third standard. The Hume McHenry Memorial School in Pune was a ICSE school where Sachin studied from the fourth to the seventh standard. Till the seventh standard, Sachin’s academic record was excellent and he was a bright and studious boy. For the eighth standard, he was admitted in Maharashtra Mandal’s Dagduseth Kataria High School. In Dagduseth Kataria High school, Sachin was more attracted to the playground. After completion of the S.S.C (10th standard), Sachin secured admission in Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Vidyalaya, Pune. On his completion of Higher Secondary School (HSC), he pursed his graduation studies for B. Pharm. in Seth Govindrao Sabale College of Pharmacy at Saswad in Pune District. After obtaining the B. Pharm. degree, he completed short courses in e-commerce and medical transcription.

 

Profession

For about one and half year after obtaining his B. Pharm. degree, Sachin worked as a Medical Representative of XXXXXXXX. XXX Company appreciated Sachin’s work as M.R. by giving him incentives. But, he was not happy with the life of M.R. and started a firm – Sachin Ortho, dealing with Orthopedic implants. Sachin Ortho was the authorized distributor for Yogeshwar Implants. Having developed good relations not only with Orthopedic Surgeons in Pune city and Pune district, but also other surgeons and hospitals, he expanded his business and activities and opened a new enterprise – Sachin Orthopedic and Surgical Equipments. Within a two years, his business flourished and it was making very good profits.

 

Sportsman

In high school and college, Sachin was a well known sportsman. He was a very good athlete and had a number of certificates and medals for his credit. His greatest achievement in sports was untiring efforts he made for the growth of Soft Ball in Maharashtra. Sachin was the captain of the Maharashtra State for two years and represented it at national level several times. His devotion for the growth of softball was recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and was awarded with medal and certificate by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra – Dr Sudhakar Naik. Sachin was the softball coach for the Maharashtra team for two years. He was also a certified international softball referee for softball. As a player, Sachin traveled the length and breadth of India making many friends in major cities of India.

 

Family

Sachin lived with his father, Dr. Laxman Kamble and mother Mrs. Mina Kamble and his two brothers, Suhas and Sushil. He has his beloved sisters-in-laws – Ujwala and Deepali and nieces – Sanchi, Pranchi and Shreya and nephew – Raj. Sachin married an Indonesian girl – Tanty (Saee) Puspitasari. Sachin’s marriage was quite unusual. Sachin and Saee came to know each other through internet. They came to know each other very well through internet chat in about four months and decided to marry. They were married in Pune on August 15th, 2000. They were a very loving couple and had a daughter – Richa in 2001.

 

Friends

Sachin had a huge circle of friends. He has many friends all over India. Among the closet are Pavan, Bhupendra, Kailas, Rahul, Santosh and many more.

 

Hobbies

Apart from sports, Sachin was very much interested in picnics, sight seeing, music and driving. He had a number of adventurous trips with his friends all over India. He would remember birthdays of all his friends and relatives and would greet them without fail every year. Sachin was also interested in photography and video shooting. This has helped to have his living memories with the family. Sachin loved all kinds of food but his most favorite was Chicken Biryani, Sabudana Khichadi.

 

Sad Demise

The day after his second marriage anniversary, Sachin had severe abdominal pain and called his brother, Dr. Suhas Kamble. Suhas promptly did all the tests (blood, x-rays, sonography, CT scan, etc.) and to the worst luck of everybody, the diagnosis turned out to be Acute Pancriatitis. There is nearly 40% to 50% mortality among patients suffering with acute pancriatitis. Sachin was immediately admitted to Niramay Hospital, Pune and was put on intensive care support. Sachin fought for survival for nearly fourteen days. The all-out efforts of his brother – Dr Suhas and his friend doctors, the doctors in Niramay hospital and specialist doctors in Pune City could not save Sachin. He was far way from this world at 6:35 a.m. on August 30th, 2002.
